Senior QA Engineer
Our partner is a worldwide energy enterprise engaged in all facets of the energy sector, striving to provide light, heat, and mobility to millions of individuals on a daily basis.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with delivery groups and support teams to deliver solutions effectively and efficiently, following change procedures for smooth and timely delivery.
- Assist the Pricing Product Manager and Technical leads in designing and executing test scenarios.
- Engage actively in agile methodology, participating in daily scrums, maintaining the Kanban board, and contributing to idea-sharing and retrospective meetings.
- Identify common issues across business groups and contribute to designing standardized solutions.
- Proactively identify risks, propose fixes for defects, and support timely resolution of critical production issues.
- Additionally, define and document standard operating procedures, as well as maintain system information and architecture diagrams.
Required skills:
- Having 5-7 years of experience in Automation Testing with Java and Selenium.
- Demonstrate core hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, and Cypress, and CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins and Maven, integrating them with version control tools like GitHub.
- Exhibit proficiency in SQL for writing queries to validate data between source and target systems.
- Display excellent communication skills to effectively manage expectations with Product Managers and developers.
- Showcase a solid understanding of behavioral-driven development frameworks using Specflow.
- Proactively take ownership as an individual contributor, demonstrating expertise in test automation for various functionalities, including trading and shipping, web app and desktop UI automation, API automation, and performance testing.
