Senior Cost Specialist (2 years fixed term)

Our multinational partner, a global leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing a broad range of innovative products for the life science research and clinical diagnostic markets, is currently building up a new operation and looking for a Senior Cost Specialist.


Main responsibilities:
  • Month-end closing activities
  • Prepares reports (e.g. cost centre reporting, Actual vs. Plan analysis, headcount report, fixed assets overview etc.)
  • Maintain and refresh the Power BI reports needed for the regular sites reporting 
  • Act like the MDG EMEA and RTD data custodian 
  • Ensure compliance with the SOX controls for the product costing area of responsibility  
  • Point of contact for SAP system updates and testing in the product costing area 
  • Audit support


Required skills:
  • 3+ years experience in finance, preferably in industrial controlling or management accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Fluent English
  • SAP and Excel knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good understanding of financial processes and financial statements
