Senior Cost Specialist (2 years fixed term)

Our multinational partner, a global leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing a broad range of innovative products for the life science research and clinical diagnostic markets, is currently building up a new operation and looking for a Senior Cost Specialist.

Main responsibilities:

Month-end closing activities
Prepares reports (e.g. cost centre reporting, Actual vs. Plan analysis, headcount report, fixed assets overview etc.)
Maintain and refresh the Power BI reports needed for the regular sites reporting
Act like the MDG EMEA and RTD data custodian
Ensure compliance with the SOX controls for the product costing area of responsibility
Point of contact for SAP system updates and testing in the product costing area
Audit support

Required skills:

3+ years experience in finance, preferably in industrial controlling or management accounting
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Fluent English
SAP and Excel knowledge
Excellent analytical skills
Good understanding of financial processes and financial statements
