You'll play a pivotal role in shaping their network environment, ensuring its resilience and security while embracing the latest technologies. Main responsibilities:
- Establishes networking environment by system installation, documenting, and conforming to standards and best practices
- Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Secures network system by enforcing security policies
- Reporting network operational status by gathering, and prioritizing information
- Install and support LANs, network segments, and related components
- Install and maintain network hardware and software
- Analyze, isolate, and resolve issues
Required skills:
- Experience in Enterprise IT networking
- Proficiency in troubleshooting layer 1 issues and all layers of the OSI model
- Expertise in Cisco-based network support and design
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VPC, VLAN)
- Familiarity with firewall policies, router ACLs, and network security concepts
- Professional proficiency in English
Advantages:
- Certification in Cisco or Fortinet
- Experience with DNS (Domain Name Service), WLC
- Experience with authentication systems such as RADIUS, TACACS+, SSO, LDAP+, ISE
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure networking
