Senior Finance Business Analyst
Our partner is a multinational industrial group present in five continents, working to meet the needs of all segments of commercial refrigeration, interpreting the cultures of our consumers from the most diverse countries and giving life to sustainable cold technologies. They just started to build up an SSC in Budapest, where they are searching for a Senior Financial Business Analyst.
Main responsibilities:
- Supports the annual planning process
- Produces detailed forecasts and highlighting areas where performance targets are not being met.
- Contributes to business case preparation & subsequent review of CAPEX expenditure.
- Establish & maintain a business partnering relationship between Finance and the local entity sales director(s) to ensure underlying performance is well understood
- Proactively challenge and propose performance improvements, and to monitor & investigate anomalies & trends.
- Partners with other business stakeholders to provide detailed analysis of focus areas of perform
- Monitor and support sales & marketing initiatives (including pricing) to ensure effective tracking & accurate analysis of profitability
- Supports regular forward looking competitor analysis and insight gathering
- Translates financial and operational performance for the businesses a
- Build data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports
- Pull data from different sources for analyzing and reporting dashboards, data trends
- Identify and specify needs for data, making sure data and calculations are consistent with other reports, and technologically feasible
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
- Collect relevant information and provide status reports towards management on all on-going projects
- Prepare cost-benefit analysis, project cost forecasts and follow-up report
Required skills:
- College/University degree of Economics or Business
- Min 5 years of Business analyst, Financial analyst, Controlling background
- SSC financial experience
- Fluent English and Hungarian
- MS Office (word, excel, power point) – advanced level
- BI Portal, Tableau, BW or other analytics tools
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Detail-orientation and high-level of accuracy
- Extensive communication skills
- Processes modeling experience preferred
- Understanding of databases and other technology
