Main responsibilities:
- Lead and manage finance projects independently, focusing on small to medium-sized initiatives, demonstrating strong project management skills and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines while addressing project risks.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining finance processes and improving efficiency using a Process Improvement approach.
- Actively contribute innovative ideas to enhance finance processes and drive operational excellence.
- Analyse existing finance processes using data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives leveraging technology and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate process improvements using key performance indicators to identify further enhancements.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, achievements, challenges, and recommended actions to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the finance department.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma) is an advantage
- Minimum 4-5 years proven experience in finance project management, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Fluency in English
