Internal Controls Expert (full remote option)
Our client is a manufacturing company and a market leader in urban engineering and mobility solutions. Their Budapest SSC is growing, so we are looking for an experienced Internal Controls Expert to join their team. In this role, you will be a key part of the ICS team, improving internal controls in the region.
Main responsibilities:
- Managing the Internal Control System (ICS)
- Conducting ICS testing activities, ensuring adherence to established procedures
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Reporting and communicating with the regional management the results of ICS testing
- Leading and implementing initiatives aimed at optimizing the local ICS system, focusing on enhancing transparency and efficacy
Required skills:
- Degree in Finance / Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Internal Controls, ideally in multinational environment, audit or Big4 advisory
- Experience in IT General Controls
- Proven track record in process improvement, automation
- Ability to simplify complex processes
- Fluent English
