Compliance Expert (Regulatory)
We are seeking a Compliance Expert (Regulatory) for our multinational partner in their Budapest office. If you have 5+ years of experience in financial accounting/audit/internal controls and are familiar with supporting compliance programs, this could be your ideal next career step.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily monitoring of the regulatory requirements using the Regulatory Threshold Tracking (RTT) dashboard.
- Lead the operational maintenance and change control of the RTT dashboard in liaison with the Innovation and Engineering (I&E) support team.
- Handle and address regulatory queries by working closely with various teams, including the Senior Compliance Manager, Compliance Manager for RTT, Regulatory Legal, and Ethics & Compliance Regulation teams.
- Identify, assess, and monitor risks related to regulatory threshold.
- Keep documentation for regulatory threshold monitoring processes, procedures, and controls up to date.
- Contribute to the creation of test scenarios and oversee the execution of test cases for the RTT dashboard.
- Build relationships with our business and I&E partners.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- Proficiency in English
- Strong data analysis and regulatory reporting skills (ideally acquired in a regulated environment such as a commodity trading firm or financial services)
- Proactivity and diligence
- Excellent communication skills
- Continuous process improvement mindset
Advantages:
- Change management experience would be advantageous
- Hands-on experience in operational aspects of regulatory reporting (EMIR, MAS, MiFID, or Dodd-Frank) would be advantageous
