VENDOR MANAGER

Our Partner has a long history of research and development focused on IT hardware and software solutions. It serves businesses of all sizes in over 170 countries. It’s Competence Center in Budapest provides high-added-value services primarily in the fields of finance, supply chain, marketing, customer support, after sales, sales tracking and environment/operational excellence to the European, Middle-Eastern and North-African entities.
The new colleague will be directly responsible for the maintenance of the communication between the partner and the Order Management team of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and re-negotiate pricing with vendor on contractual periodicity
  • Follow up orders, including out of system orders
  • Manage negotiations with the Vendor
  • Update vendor account setup
  • Coordinate monthly & quarterly operational reviews with partners
  • Review key performance indicators with countries and vendor, identify deviations, ensure action plan is built by vendor and monitor action plan
  • Ensure process or systems change requirements are implemented by partner in due time
  • Act as interface with partner for all matters: technical, process, systems, financial
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting of the activities on a timely manner
  • Measure and report the performance of each activity on a regular basis
  • Continuous performance monitoring f the existing supplies partners
  • Maintaining and improving end-to-end consumables management processes
  • Coordination of the selection and implementation of new supplies vendors

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language knowledge is a must, in addition German/French/Russian language knowledge is an advantage
  • BA or BSc degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in vendor management or in supply chain operations management role
  • Significant experience interacting with both internal and external customers, including executives
  • Experience in Shared Service and/or Service Delivery organization is a plus
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Strong Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot)
