Vendor Manager
Our multinational partner is looking for a Vendor Manager. The new colleague will be in charge of implementing and managing installation vendors located in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure contractor compliance with all the contractual requirements and elements
- Weekly overall monitor of the vendor’s activities
- Coordinate monthly & quarterly operational reviews
- Review key performance indicators, identify deviations and ensure the corrective action plan
- Monitor and assure the realization of these actions
- Run the regular analysis to identify root causes, prevent the decrease in performance, or avoid any critical situation or escalation
- Validate monthly payments
- Assure the quality of the amounts and the follow-up where needed
- Manage escalations
- Keep control of the inventory of the vendors on parts and devices
- Act as an interface with a partner for all matters
- Actively participate with the sourcing team in the selection process of installation vendors
- Be the voice of the central requirements and the day-to-day operations
- Interview and select the potential candidates
- Negotiate pricing and measurement targets with the vendor
- Coordinate implementation of the process
- Build implementation/ramp-down plan, validate it with management
- Follow-up, monitor, assure the realization of the actions
Required skills:
- Experience in service companies or service delivery organization
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in purchasing and vendor management
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Excellent in Excel analysis
- Fluent in English and French
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with people at different levels of the organization
- Problem-solving competencies, good stress management
- Result and customer-oriented
- Experience in change management in a complex environment
