Receptionist (6 hours)

On behalf of our multinational client, we are seeking an experienced and motivated new colleague for the following position:  Receptionist.
This is a highly visible role in which the individual serves as the first point of contact for all clients and visitors of the Budapest office.  The primary responsibilities include greeting visitors, operating the switchboard to route incoming calls, communicating effectively and professionally with the staff and outside callers, maintaining the general appearance of the reception area, assisting with building service requests, and performing other administrative tasks as necessary.

The role is 6 hours/part-time, 2 shifts covering the daily operating hours of the reception (08:00 – 20:00, during covid 09:00 – 18:00). Flexibility in taking both morning and evening shifts, occasionally support in weekend events are important.

Main responsibilities:
  • Professional reception and support of clients and visitors to the office
  • Professional operation of the switchboard
  • Professional operation of office equipment (projectors, printers, smartboards, videoconference, etc.)
  • Daily logging, sorting, and distribution of incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Organization, management, and commissioning of courier and taxi services
  • Placement of orders (e.g., for office supplies) and review of invoices
  • Conference room management, including coordination of catering and conference room use, provision of required equipment, and multiple daily inspections of conference rooms
  • Support of the organization and execution of events
  • Administration of cash box, storage spaces, and keys
  • Facility maintenance (e.g., reporting minor issues to the landlord)
  • Performance of additional administrative tasks as required

Required skills:
  • Professional experience at the same position within a multinational company
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills 
  • Knows how to use office equipment 
  • Has good command of MS Office
  • Communicates clearly and politely 
  • Is extremely helpful and flexible 

  • Experience in event organization
