Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our multinational partner!


Main responsibilities:
  • Accountable for driving and delivering the optimal commercial and supply solutions for customer bids/contracts while maintaining customer lifecycle and procurement expertise of category strategy, supplier knowledge, and product life cycles
  • Build and maintain customer lifecycle and procurement expertise
  • Deliver customer bid/contracts, procurement approach and plans, collaborating with global/regional category teams, stakeholder community, and suppliers, leveraging best practice procurement approaches and commercial levers
  • Apply best practices around customer lifecycle procurement, including bid support, sourcing approach, commercial models and Total Cost of Ownership, project delivery, and transitions
  • Provide input and support delivery of global/regional category strategy, policy, and framework
  • Maintain partnership with internal and external stakeholders, deliver bid/contracts in quality, cost and time-effective way
  • Deliver customer bid/contract, the optimum commercial models and procurement/sourcing plan, ensure the flowing down of customer terms to 3rd parties and time-critical buying schedules meeting project provisions
  • Execute sourcing plans for bids and contracts in a quality, cost-effective and timely manner, maximizing commercial advantage 
  • Aggregate and plan for sourcing of cross-category goods and services
  • Maintain category/industry vertical expertise around new technology, market dynamics, supplier strategies, commercial models, product life cycles, and partner programs; and support the implementation of category strategy 
  •  Manage relationships with customers, capture and align requirements, negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements, ensure solution delivery



Required skills:
  • Decision making capability
  • Continuous improvement skills that exceed customer expectations
  • 5+ years experience as a leader within the Procurement function, with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and deliver value
  • Experience in Source to the Contract process, able to understand complex customer requirements, and manage bids and contracts from requirement design to contract execution
  • Strong business expertise in customer solutions, portfolio purchasing, and relevant categories, particularly around customer requirements, supplier capabilities, commercial models, product lifecycles, and partner programs required to deliver portfolio and customer requirements
  • Ability to manage complex, strategic, and commercial requirements
  • Strong relationship management skills & ability with stakeholders within a matrixed environment
  • English on a fluent level + any European language knowledge
