Procurement Manager

Our partner is one of the world’s leading providers of communication services and solutions. By concentrating on new technologies and innovation, their goal is to create a better world with the power of communication. Currently, they are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join their organization. 



Main responsibilities:
  • Own and deliver customer bid/contracts and procurement strategy, collaborating with global/regional category teams, stakeholder community, and suppliers
  • Guide global/regional category strategy, policy, and framework to ensure the adoption and adherence
  • Maintain partnership with internal and external stakeholders, deliver bid/contracts in quality, cost and time-effective way
  • Determine the best approach to customer bid/contract, the optimum commercial models, and procurement/sourcing approach to creating maximum value
  • Identify future talents
  • Maintain category/industry vertical expertise around new technology, market dynamics, supplier strategies, commercial models, product life cycles, and partner programs 
  • Contribute to the annual planning process and support the implementation of category strategy 
  •  Manage senior relationships with key customers, negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements, ensure performance and solution delivery

  • Lead, develop and coach a team of procurement professionals to deliver brilliant outcomes


Required skills:
  • Strong relationship management skills & ability to influence decision making with senior stakeholders within a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrates strong continuous improvement skills
  • 7-10 years experience as a leader within the Procurement function, with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and deliver through high-performance teams
  • Extensive experiences in Source to the Contract process, able to understand complex customer requirements, and manage bids and contracts from requirement design to contract execution
  • Strong business expertise in customer solutions, portfolio purchasing, and relevant categories, particularly around customer requirements, supplier capabilities, commercial models, product lifecycles, and partner programs required to deliver portfolio and customer requirements
  • Ability to manage and deliver complex, strategic projects and results on time and in full
  • English on a fluent level
