Operations Director - Gyöngyös, Heves county

Our client is recognized as the world's largest bicycle manufacturer establishing a greenfiled productionand logistics facility in Gyöngyös. Targeting the markets of Eastern Europe, the factory will start to manufacture the core European bicycle and electric assisted e-bike models. By concentrating on new technologies and innovation their goal is to create functional purity and inclusive technology.


Main responsibilities:
·        Keep businesses profitable throughout its every function, including staff management, Finance health, IT operation, legal risk prevents and facility function
·        Deliver timely supports through its daily operation focusing on the strategic, long-term challenges, and major opportunities facing of organization
·        Enable the general manager successfully focus on the business goals (MBO) achieves
·        Upgrade and implement an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures
·        Ensure the cross-functions synergy is adhering to the strategic plan, and delivering long-term positive effects to the organization
·        Improve administrative and operational function supports such as treasury management, retirement plan, talent management, grants payment processing, payroll, accounts payable, systematic operation and purchasing risk management.
·        Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the staff as their supervision.
·        Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning
·        Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.
·        Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives,        establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.
·        Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results.
·        Advise the general manager and key member of senior management team on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
·        Serve as the management liaison and audit committee; effectively communicate and present critical financial matters at committee meetings.



Required skills:
·        University degree (Msc in Economics)
·        Excellent English language skills
·        People management experience
·        At lease 10 years experience in a senior management role ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management experience gained within a high-growth multinational production company
·        Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive personality is a must
·        The ideal candidate has to be a real team leader, who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives
·        Excellent MS Office skills



Advantages:
Experience in leading HR, IT, Law departments beside Finance is a great advantage
Experience within a greenfield investment is a plus
