Logistics Vendor Manager

Our multinational partner is looking for an experienced Vendor Manager! The new colleague will manage relationships with vendor(s), monitor vendors/suppliers’ performance, and establish systems and procedures to ensure and enhance overall quality. 


Main responsibilities:
  • Classic vendor management. 
  • Establish requirements for suppliers to achieve process and quality standards. 
  • Facilitate the development of team/partner relationships with vendors/suppliers and maintain relationships for long-term contracts. 
  • Ensure that the terms and conditions of the contract signed between both parties are applied.
  • Recommend and implement operations techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, and take advantage of opportunities.
  • Participate in the vendor selection process if needed.
  • Participate in costs negotiations with global sourcing. 
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing corrective actions.
  • Elaborate yearly budget, and monthly financial outlook, report results, and explain them.
  • Organize monthly business reviews with the vendor, and participate in quarterly business reviews.
  • Be a participant and a voice in supply chain continuous improvement projects. 
  • Participate in the lean culture deployment.  



Required skills:
  • Advanced English level
  • Logistics experience with three years of vendor management
  • Negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team player, cooperative 
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and changing environment     
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities 
  • Rigorous, autonomous, well organized, confident 
  • Proficient in MS Excel, SAP knowledge
