Logistics Coordinator - German speaking

Our partner is one of the world’s leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin and they are a European market leader in base chemicals, fertilizers, and the mechanical recycling of plastics. On behalf of them, we are looking for a German-speaking Logistics Coordinator.


Main responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that customer delivery and internal flows are executed based on the weekly/monthly delivery plan, at optimum costs and within the contract frames
  • Working closely together with internal and external stakeholders
  • Being the main contact for a pre-defined carrier base and ports, monitoring their performance in the areas of delivery execution 
  • Ensuring that supply chain costs are correctly entered and that invoices are paid correctly and on time to logistic service providers



Required skills:
  • English: professional knowledge, written and spoken
  • German: professional knowledge, written and spoken
  • 2+ years experience in Supply Chain or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain
  • Good knowledge of standard MS Office applications 
  • Experience with ERP system - preferably SAP 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Excellent in teamwork, networking, and stakeholder management
  • Intercultural awareness
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to set priorities accordingly
  • Problem-solving attitude
