International Customer Service Team Lead (German-speaking)

Our partner is a global leader in the furnishings industry. They would like to find an engaged Team Leader to support and optimize a customer service team.


Main responsibilities:
Team lead tasks
  • Leading the Customer Service team in the Hungarian office. 
  • Ensuring the team is organized and efficient.
  • Advising on processes to ensure a clean order process.
  • Meeting the demands of the partners, customers, and suppliers.
  • The lead will aid in future recruitment processes.
Operational Tasks
  • Processing of orders received by dealers and direct customers in a fast and accurate way.
  • This involves extensive customer contact to establish correct items are being ordered and delivered within the required time.
  • Acknowledging the orders within the set time frame.
  • Keeping in direct contact with operations teams and 3rd party partners/suppliers in Europe by phone and email.
  • Keeping control of the order from the point of receiving the order to the point of invoicing and cash collection.
  • Informing customers, sales, and project teams if on-time delivery is at risk.
  • Advising and supporting customers with upcoming questions.
  • Acting as a connection point for customers with internal specialists like engineers or quality experts.


Required skills:
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Process-oriented with a mindset of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Fluency in English and German is needed.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and planning skills required.
  • A high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
