Global IT Support Specialist - German or French speaking

Our market leader partner is a multinational company based in Budapest. Their products are well-known globally. They are now looking for a German or French speaking Global IT Support Specialist who will provide 1st and 2nd level IT support globally within the company.

Main responsibilities:
- being the first point of contact by receiving IT support requests by different channels - phone calls, self-service tickets, chat, on-site requests
- provide basic support and troubleshooting, e.g., password resets, printer configurations, break/fix instructions
- providing desk-side support e.g., desktops, laptops, mobile phones, configuration issues, software installations, hardware repair, and/or network connectivity problems 
- analyzing incidents & identifying problem symptoms and possible root causes
- escalating issues to 3rd level support 
- executing ordering/purchasing, setup, maintaining and supporting hardware, software, WAN, LAN, and telephone systems in agreement with local needs and global IT standards
- ensuring proper documentation and knowledge sharing with the global support team

Required skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in providing 1st or 2nd level IT support
- Fluent English AND at least intermediate level in German or French
- Ability to perform problem-solving (troubleshooting)
- Understanding of IT systems and ready to learn new processes and technologies 
- Ability to adapt to changing demands in workload
- Good communication (both verbal and written) and customer handling skills
