Commercial Development Specialist
Our market leader partner is a multinational company playing a huge role in the building materials industry. Their products are well-known globally. They are now looking for an experienced Commercial Development Specialist who will work closely with the e-commerce manager, content manager, and analytics team. He/she will support the development, implementation, and follow up of all the different promotional activities of the organization and support product launch and positioning processes.
Main responsibilities:
- Developing and supporting direct and indirect campaigns throughout shops
- Following up campaigns to create best practice and structured documentation
- Building product knowledge and comparison mechanism across the product portfolio to support the product and channel strategy
- Creating competitive advantage through value - understanding, communicating, and creating features by a thorough evaluation of each market
- Developing branding and content strategy together with the content manager
- Supporting the development of online offers
- Working with various stakeholders across the business to ensure decisions are data and customer-driven
- Getting valuable customer insights and generating research processes and surveys to collect insight; investigating external sources
- Analyzing and following up promotional activity
Required skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing planning, brand management, or retail activation management
- A curious and creative mindset and an appetite for thinking outside the box and exploring new solutions and ideas
- Excellent commercial acumen – analytical problem solver with the ability to effectively articulate findings to stakeholders and engage them
- Good communication and presentation skills and experience with PowerPoint
- Ability to rigorously follow up and follow through with a positive and proactive mindset
