Bid Manager - French speaking

Our partner has a long history of research and development focused on IT hardware and software solutions. It serves businesses of all sizes in over 170 countries. Its Competence Center in Budapest provides high added-value services, primarily in the fields of finance, supply chain, marketing, customer support, after-sales, sales tracking, and environment/operational excellence to the European, Middle Eastern, and North African entities. Currently, they are looking for a Bid Manager, who will be responsible for managing the development of proposals from the moment the project is assigned up to the submission of the final documents. 


Main responsibilities:
  • Reviewing proposal-related projects to understand and note project goals, customer requirements, preparing and submitting instructions, qualitative questionnaires
  • Initiating the creation of a project plan and coordinating with sales leads 
  • Maintaining master document, soliciting material from the sales team, and sending drafts out
  • Working with sales and operational teams to develop individualized plans; coordinating with subject matter experts from other internal organizations such as legal, research & development, marketing, human resources, etc. to gather information required for proposals
  • Demonstrating high competency in copy-editing and proofreading proposals to eliminate typos, grammatical errors, and formatting issues before submission to the client
  • Creating and formatting the final version of the response
  • Nominating new or significantly changed information for future inclusion in the proposal desk database





Required skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • At least four years of relevant working experience
  • Strong communication skills in French
  • Solid English communication skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
  • Internet-savvy, research skills 
  • Excellent time management, project management, communication, and coordination skills
  • Should have a keen eye for detail and must be proactive, resourceful and possess a strong sense of ownership of assigned projects and the entire proposal process





Advantages:
