Cash Collector

As Cash Collector you are part of the story to shape the company's Solution Center Europe (SCE) building from scratch, empowered to dive into new structures and aspired to take it to the next level. 


Main responsibilities:
  • Support the transition of Order to Cash processes in Hungary
  • Shape and develop the new Shared Service Center in Budapest
  • Implement personalized follow-up strategies for clients
  • Conduct regular client follow-ups and root cause analyses of non-payments
  • Negotiate and monitor payment schedules
  • Follow up on dunning processes and payment reminders
  • Identify and mitigate risks of non-payment
  • Manage disputes, including corrections, cancellations, and credit note issuance
  • Ensure all recovery procedures are followed before legal actions
  • Validate customer accounts in the database
  • Collaborate with treasury and collection departments
  • Create and update detailed process documentation
  • Participate in process optimization projects
  • Follow the rules, and regulations, and ensure KPIs are met
  • Provide high-quality customer service
  • Adhere to service levels, policies, and procedures
  • Develop professional relationships with business and stakeholders


Required skills:
  • Minimum 3 years in Cash Collector or Customer Service role
  • Accounting experience beneficial
  • Proven process optimization track record
  • Proficiency in the end-to-end O2C process
  • Professional accountancy qualification
  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or business
  • Fluent in French, good in English
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, SAP FI, and Collection ERP systems
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starting attitude
  • Strong team player with motivational skills
  • Attention to detail and prioritization abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong customer focus and continuous improvement mindset
  • Willingness to travel when possible
