Customer Logistic & Planning Specialist ( Manager )

Our Client is an innovative, leading European pet food company, producing branded pet food and own-label products for retailers. Due to their dynamic growth we seek an ambitious professional for the following position:


Main responsibilities:
  • This unique and standalone position, provides a strong daily support-bridge between the Customer and Sales in logistic, planning and order management areas. 
  • This person reports and manages the order fulfillment related service level performance, healthy stock, master data and item status, packaging reorder of the dedicated Customers. 
  •  Service level reporting on a weekly basis 
  •  Service failure – Reason definition 
  • OOS Follow up – Route cause analysis and reason finding 
  • OOS Detection, OOS Elimination management  
  • Forecast support for managed clients  
  • Support for the sales team in order to reach higher sales forecast accuracy 
  • FG and PM stock follow up weekly, PM reorder confirmation 
  • Phase Out Management to minimize or eliminate FG, PM related loss, Phase out Stock calculation 
  • Define and drive the best and most cost effective ordering baskets and Route to market model  
  • Periodic review of actual logistic cost set up vs contracted 
  • Customer penalty review and and route cause check external and internal team work 
  • Participation on client related project calls and bi-weekly internal calls 
  • Participation and representation of the Company with client supply chain calls 
  • Daily connection with Customer Service and Planning Teams 






Required skills:
  • College or University degree (preferably in logistics or economics)
  • Fluent English language knowledge (written and spoken)
  • Minimum 3 years working experiences on field of logistic, planning, forecasting, analysis 
  • Previous experiences with Client Service and Logistic is a competitive advantage  
  • Experience working for an international FMCG focused company 
  • Experience and/or network on the FMCG B&B cooperation model 
  • Excellent analyzing capability 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • The ability to work under pressure, with an analytical and problem solving approach to the upcoming issues  
  • Customer and Service and logistic oriented 
  • Team player with ability to change between contributor – leader roles 
  • Communicative, open, honest 
  • Politely critical and objective 
  • Pragmatic, accurate
