GL Accountant

Main responsibilities:
  • General Ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Ensures compliance with policies / procedures and SOX controls
  • Perform monthly and annual period-end closing process
  • Prepare Audit documentation and participation in internal and external Audits
  • Calculate and prepare accruals, prepayments, and other financial information
  • Continuously improve closing processes and efficiency


Required skills:
  • University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong Excel Skills


Advantages:
  • SAP knowledge
  • Previous experience in a shared service center or accounting experience at a large company, or fast paced environment is desired
