Vendor Manager - German-speaking

On behalf of our multinational partner, we are looking for a Vendor Manager - German-speaking.
Within the Service Operations department the Vendor Manager is in charge of implementing and managing the field service located in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA).


Main responsibilities:
  • Ensure contractor compliance with all the contractual requirements and elements
  • Weekly overall monitoring of the vendor’s activities 
  • Coordinate monthly & quarterly operational reviews 
  • Run regular analysis in order to identity root causes, to prevent the decrease in performance or to avoid any critical situation or escalation 
  • Validate monthly payments through SAP and PO
  • Ensure that the defective parts and devices are returned to the company
  • Manage escalations from Customer, Vendor, Country
  • Keep a strong control on the inventory of the vendors on parts and on devices
  • Ensure process or systems change requirements are implemented by partner in due time
  • Coordinate introduction of new products with partner: parts availability, technician training and documentation
  • Act as interface with partner for all matters: technical, process, systems, financial


Required skills:
  • Experience in Service companies and/or Service Delivery organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in Purchasing and Vendor Management
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • Fluency in German and English


Advantages:
