Senior PTP Accountant

This is a senior PTP role in a leading multinational company in the centre of Budapest. In this role, you will closely work with the PTP Team Leader, develop business policies, work with external partners and complete the invoice processing and payment in a timely and effective manner. If you have at least 3 years of payment experience, are familiar with SAP and Citibank and would like to have a complex, challenging role where you have the opportunity to professionally develop, send us your CV and we will contact you.


Main responsibilities:
  • Take part in standardization and automation processes
  • Process Vendor invoices and payments
  • Manage returned and rejected Payments
  • Complete weekly payment runs and ad-hoc manual payments
  • Ensure timely audit of T&E reports
  • Ensure payments are made correctly by updating master vendor details
  • Participate in closing activities in order to ensure accurate and timely recording of AP transactions
  • Creating and sustaining work instructions, SOX documentation
  • Ensure business users and vendors follow defined PTP processes
  • Improve and undertake effective business relationships


Required skills:
  • BA degree in Economics or Finance or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of Payment
  • SAP experience
  • Citibank experience
  • Confident Excel skills
