Business Development Manager

Our Client services robotized and error-free warehouse logistics to webshops and e-traders. The Company's service provides savings of up to 30-50% compared to manually controlled and self-owned warehouse costs.
Even to the smallest webstores, ranging from 100 monthly orders to millions. Due to its dynamic growth, the Company is seeking an experienced and ambitious candidate for the following position:

Main responsibilities:
  • Develop new business with contract logistics focus. 
  • Generate sales leads and formulate business solutions to cope with customer requirements regarding warehousing and fulfillment that eventually converts from prospect to new win business.
  • Responsible for rate calculations, quotation, and presentation for new business inquiries and RFQ/RFP.
  • Prepare robust business development proposals by means of providing quality and innovative logistics solutions against specified deadlines.
  • Lead commercial and contract negotiations. 
  • Prepare and maintain yearly business development plans and sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long terms partner and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Operational / IT teams/ Legal Department whenever it is needed to ensure the sales plan.

Required skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the field of contract logistics at internationally recognized 3PL’s. 
  • Familiar with large-scale warehouse implementations, warehousing, and fulfillment technologies. 
  • Good understanding of supply chain systems such as WMS, TMS systems, MRP process tools, Last Mile delivery systems
  • Good communication and presentational skills in English and Hungarian.
  • Commercially focused, consumer orientated, and customer service driven.
  • Very strong MS Excel skills.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Positive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive skills.
  • Team player, flexible, a good problem solver, and independent.

  • E-commerce fulfillment experience is highly advantageous.
