Chief Accountant - Polish speaking

Would you like to utilize your expertise in a prestigious company in a leadership role as an individual contributor? On behalf of our multinational partner, we are looking for a Chief Accountant who would be responsible for end-to-end accounting activities on a country level.


Main responsibilities:
  • Review the P/L and balance sheet according to standards (US GAAP)
  • Act as an owner of Internal Control processes
  • Make ensure the closings are completed in timelines (monthly, yearly)
  • Take responsibility for IFRS 16 Leasing related matters
  • Responsible for manual closing entries approval, management accounting, and all aspects of AR
  • Supervise Cash flow management - forecast current and future cash flow requirement and arrangement for necessary fund transfers (if required).
  •  Manage all treasury-related activity
  • Supervise all aspects of AP and Master Data activities
  • Responsible for statutory taxes calculations and reconciliation, including tax reporting and liaising with Tax Consultants.
  • The focal point of audit-related questions
  • Participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries.
  • Main escalation point in terms of all financial process-related questions


Required skills:
  • Fluent in English AND Polish
  • College or University degree (finance/accountancy/economics)
  • 8+ years of working experience in the field of Finance
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • High level of analytical skills
