Bid Expert

On behalf of our multinational client, we are looking for a Bid Expert to manage bids from qualification to submission or contracting, to provide process governance and support for the account team in bid preparation. To shape the deal strategy in order to maximize chances of winning the business. To ensure that bid and pre-sales commercial activities are managed in a timely manner, meeting the company's objectives and mitigating potential risks. To ensure that proposals satisfy both the customer's and the company's requirements and prepare the bid proposal for approval. 


Main responsibilities:
  • Operate in a global environment, effectively use multi-cultural resources
  • Engage stakeholders of bids and manage their expectations
  • Facilitate creation and communication of bid strategy and commercial propositions
  • Advise on contracting and commercial models' main legal and commercial terms and conditions
  • Identify process improvement areas and run improvement projects in a global environment
  • Use industry best practices and share them with bid management resources
  • Help the Team to capitalize on synergies and connection points are revealed between various teams and functions
  • Assist with the development of new practices and process to ensure effective and efficient operation of various functions
  • Support the execution of business transformation projects
  • Build strong stakeholder relationship with senior leaders of Business Partners
  • Oversee all areas of the business, help to implement operational changes and delivers measurable improvements


Required skills:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in bids & proposals – in purchasing and in sales
  • Fluent English skills (able to negotiate in English) 
  • Experience in customer-facing negotiations
  • Strategic project management knowledge
  • Commercial and sales experience, commercial acumen
  • Facilitation skills
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Presentation skills
